The long-anticipated wait is over! We are proud to announce that Lone Star No. 1 Mill was restarted this week. We appreciate the tireless dedication from the entire Lone Star Tubular Operations team to complete the restart activities on schedule and in just four short months. In the picture to the right, an aerial shot of the mill shows a strip of steel ready to pass through the forming rolls before the pipe section is welded.

Hiring Continues As #1 Mill Restart Imminent

As No. 1 mill at Lone Star Tubular Operations is close to officially restarting production, we are continuing our commitment to hire from within our community. As of early May, we have hired over 110 new employees and provided new job training for many of them.
