Earlier this week, workers finished installing all of the roof trusses for the melt shop. With the building frame nearly complete, exterior panels will begin making their way on the perimeter of the building.

Next to the melt shop, the gas cleaning plant, also known as the bag house, is beginning to shape up. A major component to minimize our impact on the environment, the bag house collects the gas from the electric arc furnace and cools it down using water and evaporators. The cooled gas then goes through further processing and filtering.
